10p Gamer Goes Full-Time – First Official Blog Post

It's something that you guys have requested many times, and up until now I just haven't had the capacity to do it. However, as many in the community now know, the 10p Gamer Channel is going full-time, and with that comes more time to connect with you, expand on some stories, and keep you up to date with all the general goings-on!

Going Full-Time!

This one's been a long time in the making – in fact, nearly four years!

The 10p Gamer Channel was actually born on 4th September 2021, but the opening nine months or so were... quiet! I made one video on Grabba Dabba 2, dropped it on YouTube, and then basically disappeared. I didn't come back and start making content again for months!

When I did return, I created what would go on to become one of my most popular videos – a session on Well Well Well Live showcasing the bonus rounds. It was after that video that my idea of a low-stakes, realistic gambling channel started to look like it might have legs, and I decided to see if I could build this community into something special.

So, to now be in a position where I can take this channel and run with it full-time, complete with a website, Discord server, and a team of five people working alongside me, is genuinely amazing!

I've spent the last few months building plans for what's to come, including some new content, an expansion of the Podcast with the Book Guy, and maybe even some extra live streams here and there. (Morning bingo and slots, anyone?)

What's Coming Up?

We've just seen the release of Pirots 5 in the arcade, and you know that's going to be getting some serious screen time!

As well as some £40 battle videos, I'll also be doing a one-off YouTube live stream – a Pirots 5 Special – where we can really dig into it, do battle with the bastard, and see exactly what the game has to offer on the 20p stake.

Alongside the release of Pirots 5, we've also just seen the launch of Tanked 3: First Blood 2. It's a weird name for the second game in the Tanked series, but it's definitely going to be an interesting one to compare with Pirots. After all, Tanked is NoLimit City's answer to Pirots.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the first one. I thought it was a bit clumsy, the modifiers were hard to understand, and, as with many NoLimit City slots, the game is incredibly volatile. For me, it lacked some of the entertainment value that you get from Pirots.

Let's see what the second instalment has to offer...

What About the Crows?

I've been back!

I actually ended up taking an unintentional week-and-a-half break from seeing the crows. It's one of those situations where the longer you leave it, the harder it is to go back, because you know they've been waiting around for their cheese and suet balls. They've probably even visited the very spot I used to frequent, and if they could conjure up a look of disappointment, I'm sure they'd wear it proudly.

But anyway, I did go back, and I'm sure you'll be hearing about this in many videos to come.

First things first – they recognised me immediately, which was really nice. Proof, I suppose, of what people say about crows: they really do remember faces, even after ten days of not seeing me at all.

And this time, they brought along two babies!!

If you remember, a few weeks back I was raving in a video about seeing the first baby. Well, they now have a second, and this time I was treated to watching them take the suet balls, break them up, and feed them to their babies.

I genuinely didn't even know crows did that. The babies aren't exactly small either, but it was a magical moment to witness.

10p Gamer In-House Games!

You'll no doubt have seen the in-house games on the site, and if you haven't, get over there and check out our very own slot – Crows Hoard!

We've also implemented a daily spin for people to top up their in-house currency, which is, of course, CHEESE!

So don't forget to drop in for your daily spin, grab some cheese, and try out Crows Hoard, 10p Gamer Blackjack, and 10p Plinko 1000.

In the background, I'm working on a few more games. A traditional pub slot is going to take some work, but the concept-building is already underway.

We'll also see the release of MisJangle in the coming weeks. There are just a few small things to iron out, and then it'll be ready to join the library.

The plan, ultimately, is to have a unique suite of 10p Gamer games for people to enjoy for free, with a few prizes and competitions sprinkled in along the way.

We've already started over in Discord, with £25 up for grabs for the first person to max out Crows Hoard for the 10,000x win!

Final Thoughts

It's an exciting time for the channel.

There's lots of new content on the way, new in-house games, more live streams, and of course this blog, which I'll be keeping busy with.

See you next time!
